I.
When I think of visibility, renown, people liking my work–the first thing that comes to my mind is that I have less chance of being doubted when I talk about abuse and harassment.
Less chance of suffering in silence.
I resent seeing everything as part of a power dynamic.
I resent this fixation on survival.
It dominates my vision, makes my eye sick.
II.
Women are turned against other women.
I feel sick when I think about it. I second-guess every disagreement I have with other women. I wonder how to disagree with other women in a culture where we’re encouraged to bully and undermine each other.
I feel disgusted and ashamed.

i listened to many of these songs over and over again (Ke$ha’s Warrior track, 7 hours on repeat) until they become permanent reminders of a certain time in my life, even tear-inducing to relive (the howling dogs tracks especially).
my games are how i get people to listen to music.
that is a big reason why they exist.

i designed this for a crowd with big font and lots of choices, like a CYOA book a bunch of people can play at once
it was made last minute for Oakland Nights Live which is a fun cool live talk show where people do esoteric performances based on a theme, and the theme was Hacking
…but all i could think about was high end customizable sauna experiences and cupcakes :~O
i read the words over mic and people yelled the choices and my friend Channing did the clicking. playing games live can be a very fun and cutey of an experience!
